We were out in force on Live ready to be seen. I had a great time on UNO® tonight playing for over 5 hours. It felt like being on reality TV every once in while. Some people came and played awhile, some only a game, and some stopped in and left. I swear I took a shower today! Anyways, thanks to all of you that got a chance to see the Xbox Live Vision Camera in use. The MysteryMVP and the other Xbox MVPs will be on Live for the next month to give you a chance to see it in action and try and answer any questions you may have. This little camera rocks and definitely adds a lot of fun to Xbox Live experience. 8月16日 See the MysteryMVP via Xbox Live Vision CameraNow that some of you have chatted with MysteryMVP on Xbox Live, Microsoft is allowing you to see the MysteryMVP. Starting either Thursday or Friday of this week, the MysteryMVP will have the new Xbox Live Vision Camera
8月15日 Gamers Challenge Mystery MVP in UNO!A BIG congratulations goes out to SureaL, Chaos789, Jimmy Batallion, sweet freek mom, ghosteofSpecter, and Datsukanii! All of the gamers mentioned played a few rounds of UNO tonight, most walking away with some wins in their pocket. But not without a fight! In my first match up, I was teamed up against SureaL, Chaos789, and Jimmy Batallion in some traditional UNO (score to 250). SureaL walked away with the most wins, racking up 3 rounds of victory in an astounding 20 minutes time. Chaos789 as well as Jimmy Batallion walked away with both at least one win, while the Mystery MVP walked away with an impressive 2 wins. Not too shabby. All in all they were all great sports and very skilled. I believe it was Jimmy that came up with the idea... "There should be a 35th anniversarry grenade in Halo 2. After you throw it, confettii rains down and a mariachi band seranades you." I think you're on to something there Jimmy...where's that Halo 3 wishlist when you need one? The last match up of the evening was a team event starring sweet freek mom, ghosteofSpecter, and Datsukanii. Once their questions were answered concerning the MVP program sweet freek mom was the first to ask, "So I just beat you, am I going to be on the website?" I couldn't promise her that, considering I jumped in and the CPU was doing a great job sabotaging my team. In the end, both teams walked away with a win while keeping my UNO ego in check. 8月9日 Need for Speed Snail PaceOk, imagine yourself in your tricked out ride setting at the starting line waiting for a race. You're itching to take on some chump that thinks he/she can best you. The adrenaline is pumping as watch the rpms rev up. Now you know your ride is sweet and you want to throw it in someones face just how good you and your car are. A car drops in, well it looks like it may be a car, wait it's a stock option box with four wheels In the rush to play Tuesday night I got one little thing at NFS:MW, all the good cars need to be earned. So here I was looking over everyone else's cars wondering why I was doing this to myself. The only saving grace of the night was only choosing sprint races so I wouldn't be lapped! Actually, at least with the long timer I actually made it across the finish line each time. One thing that does irritate me is when someone joins in a game and drops out just because they're in last place. Hey, if I could hang in there, you can too. Wait until you're back in the lobby and then say goodbye. Well I think NFS:MW will need some off-line play before I try it with the MysteryMVP again. But perhaps a stock only session so time might be fun. Thanks to those of you I had a chance to meet and be dragged over the asphalt by! 8月4日 First session reportWell the first game session was a blast. Okay for all of you out there that think Live is just filled with people that can't control themselves let me tell you the MysterMVP dropped into a cat and mouse game tonight that anyone would have enjoyed. Just wanted to shout out to SATTO Ken, MD87, Storms of War, Xx Oki Burn xX, ColdGOLF VR6, Jimmy Brooks, and Two4fifteen for a great first session, really enjoyed it guys. So what's this all about...The Microsoft Xbox MVPs decided to get together and provide a little fun for the Xbox gaming community. We want to reach out and kick your butts in some Xbox Live games. No seriously, we want to provide the community with some organized fun times playing a range of games on the Xbox. It's Prime Time Programming with your chance to play with a group of people from around the world that like to have fun playing on Xbox Live.
Okay, so how is all this going to happen. Well for scheduled games the MVP host will announce the game. date, and time. If you're interested you'll email MysteryMVPGamer@hotmail.com with their gamertag requesting to play that game. We'll draw names out and send out friends request before the game. We'll also have the drop in type where the game session will be announced and the MysteryMVP will be dropping in on random rooms during that time.
What do I get for playing the MysteryMVP? What do you get for playing against the MysteryMVP: nothing, nada, nada II.
So who will the MVP be that is hosting a particular game? It could be any of us. Maybe we'll tell you, maybe we won't. So if you completely pwned one of us, try and get it out of us, so you can boost about in the Xbox Forums. We'll also host some team games so you can take on a few of us at a time. Perhaps you'll join in and be surprised by who is also in the room with us, never can tell. |
